Henderson Hot Lunch update - June 2020

Dear Henderson Families,

 

We hope this message finds everyone safe and well. COVID-19 definitely threw us all for an unexpected loop.

 

One of the many activities that was paused was our Hot Lunch program. Hot Lunch is PAC’s primary fundraiser for the year and allows us to take the profits and put them directly back into the school.

 

This year, based on our projected fundraising profits, PAC was able to support the purchase of the following items:

• Library refresh:

  • New seating

  • New tables

  • Whiteboard

  • Banner

  • Story Studio supplies

  • Paint and other assorted supplies

•  Makerspace

  • Assorted supplies

  • Storage

• Other

  • Propane griddle

  • Wireless mic

  • Pop-up tent

  • Scoreboard

 

A huge thank you to Mr. Singh, Mr. Peters and other staff members for taking on all the building and painting projects to keep our costs low.

 

PAC is asking our families who ordered Hot Lunch for April through June 2020 to consider their orders a donation to the PAC. Our Hot Lunch program does not have a refund policy as it is a fundraiser. However, we want to be sensitive to the fact that the pandemic was out of everyone’s control.

 

If your family requires a refund due to financial hardship, please fill out this form with the required information before 11:59pm on Tuesday July 7, 2020. PAC will contact you to make arrangements for your refund. Incomplete forms, forms received after the submission cut-off or requests made via other methods will not be accepted.
