WHAT WE DO
We are building community for our students & families.
The John Henderson Elementary Parent Advisory Council (Henderson PAC) is a group of parent volunteers who aim to connect our school community through fun, school-wide events and activities.
We raise funds for critical needs around our school, like books for the library and classrooms, field trip subsidies for children who cannot afford it, sporting goods, sensory equipment for our special needs classrooms, replacement of our school playground, including extensive landscaping to the school grounds, and investments in new technology.
All parents are part of the PAC and we welcome and encourage all volunteers. The more volunteers we have the stronger our school and community becomes. You can volunteer as much or as little as you want, and even a couple of hours a month can make a huge difference. Plus, it's fun and rewarding! Kids love to see their parents helping out at the school, and we like to have a good time doing it.
We're glad to support parents with any questions they may have. Please reach out to your PAC, or come to a meeting to get involved.
